Assembly is on the lookout for a seasoned professional to step into the role of Assistant Bar Manager.

  • This role is perfect for someone with solid experience in fast-paced venues who loves being part of a tight, friendly team. You’ll be across daily operations, staff management, coffee service and ensuring the whole vibe stays on point.

    • Experience in a similar hospo management role (café, fast casual or diner)

    • Availability for early mornings and weekends

    • Barista experience required

    • Bonus points if you know your way around a sandwich press or love pickles a bit too much

We’re firing up something new in Hume. 'Burgermaker' is the latest venue from the team behind Assembly, Al's Deli and Fun Time Pony  – and we’re on the hunt for full-time Front of House Manager to join the opening crew.

  • We’ll be slinging smashburgers, cold beers and good times from a custom-built shipping container, with BBQ bench seating, live music and a fast-paced outdoor service model. You’ll be across counter service, drinks, running food and keeping the vibe sharp from open to close.

    • Experience in a similar hospo role (fast casual, bar or counter service)

    • A calm, friendly approach and sense of humour under pressure

    • Comfortable working nights, weekends and in a busy environment

    • RSA required

    • Bonus points if you’re into burgers, music and being part of a fun new project

Chef/Cook ~ Burgermaker (New Venue)

Burgermaker is Rabble Group’s newest venue – serving smashburgers, cold beers and good times from a custom-built shipping container in Hume. We’re on the hunt for a full-time cook or chef to help launch this one right.

  • You’ll be running the grill and pumping out burgers during busy lunch and dinner services. It’s a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a tight team, a small menu and a focus on doing things properly. Think simple food, done really well.

    • Solid kitchen experience in a similar fast-paced setting

    • A love of burgers, consistency and a clean, efficient setup

    • Ability to manage a small space and keep cool under pressure

    • Understanding of kitchen hygiene, stock rotation and prep

    • Positive energy and a team-first mindset
