    Tucked away in Hume’s industrial back blocks, Burgermaker serves up some of Canberra’s best smashburgers — crisp-edged, no-fuss, and built for real appetites. Open weekdays from 6:30am, with brekky buns, fried chicken and ONA coffee from next door.

  • Hill Station Precinct

    Hill Station is a reimagined 1860s homestead in the heart of Hume, a precinct where history meets community. With Burgermaker serving up Canberra’s best smash burgers, a front beer garden made for footy and knock-offs, and The Lawn launching soon with space for kids and families, it’s a spot for everyone. Food, music, cold beer and good times, all set against the backdrop of a Canberra original.

    Our spacious beer garden at Assembly is perfect for celebrations of all sizes, with room for up to 150 guests. Set under a beautiful oak tree, the space features a fully stocked outdoor bar, a large wooden deck with seating for up to 100, and a grassy area with high tables for up to 50. For smaller gatherings, you can reserve a handful of tables, or go big and hire the entire space exclusively. It’s a relaxed, open-air setting made for good times.

  • The Front Bar

    The Front Bar is a lively, welcoming space ideal for smaller gatherings, with seating for up to 60 guests. Located right by the main bar, it features high tables with stools, comfy booths, and TVs, making it perfect for casual catch-ups, birthdays or group bookings with a great view of the action. We try to keep some tables free for walk-ins, so there's always room to drop in and join the fun.
